Basic Mashed Potatoes
As usual I was browsing the web, scrolling and checking out food recipes posted by bloggers around the globe. Out of nowhere I spotted this wonderful lady's blog, Ms. Ree Drummond. Her blog, with the tittle "The Pioneer Women", welcome you with beautiful shoots of hers be it food photos or random shots.
Unlike other bloggers, which I don't normally pay much attention to their write up, Ree, somehow captured me with her funny yet naughty words. She has put up a lot of effort in her blog by showing every single steps of the cooking with detailed photos.
The first recipe that catch my attention is this starchy side line. Just by viewing the photos posted got me drooling in front of the pc and wanted a scoop in my mouth! Okay, no more nonsense. Let me present you the ultimate creamy mashed potatoes.
cream cheese, butter and milk. I replaced half and half with full cream milk.
russet potatoes. boil and mash it
throw in butter, cream cheese, milk, salt and pepper
Tadaaa~
Believe me, this is the first time i made a mashed potatoes and it taste really good! Guess this is a fail-proof recipe huh!? I share this with my friends and they are loving it!
Home Made Chicken Nugget
I try another recipe from Ree. I saw her Fried Mozzarella Sticks recipe and it looks so.. so.. so fattening good. I really really feels like made one myself but because of guiltiness filled in me, I replace the cheese with chicken. Hmm.. sounds like fried chicken nugget. Not bad after all huh.
I have to say if you like fried food, or cheese, or chicken or anything with high calories you got to try this out! Fried Chicken Nugget.
I use:
Chicken Breast (cut into bite size)
1 egg
2-3 tablespoon of full cream milk
Seasoned all purpose flour
Bread Crumbs
Dried Parsley
Cooking Oil
Steps:
Whisk egg with milk.
Mix bread crumbs with dried parsley.
Pour all purpose flour in a bowl.
Dunk the chicken pieces into the flour subsequently into egg/milk mixture then cover it with bread crumb/parsley mixture.
Heat the wok with cooking oil and fried until golden brown. Finally eat it!
